Jimiyu is the King of the Sun Lands, and is a force to be reckond with. He's a brash and hull-headed, with a tendency to bully his way through issues rather than solve them peacefully. Despite this Jimiyu is a brave lion with a strong sense of justice, and is softer than he initally appears. He's a good king, but as a father is quite absent, leaving the raising of his children to their mother. Jimiyu only really started to take interest in his sons when they became of age to start their educations. In the Sun Lands when two sons are born in the same litter they are forced to fight for the position of king, and so Ahadi and Zuberi are heavily drilled in battle training. Jimiyu has a tendency to favour Ahadi due to his size (how could Zuberi possibly win when he's so much smaller?), but this doesn't cause a rift for his sons.

When he discovers that his wife has a secret son in another pride (a mistake from when they were betrothed and barely knew each other, she says), he is so enraged and betrayed that he openly flirts and seduces his own mistress, giving him another son. He cares not for Arifu, who is seen as illegitimate and no threat to the crown, and has intentions of throwing the boy out once his mane grows in.

Updating some of Ahadi's family to make room for some semi-canon characters, as well as retconning some things. I'm rehauling a lot of my lore, I'm taking out the whole "sun blood" and "false kingdom" thing entirely I'm pretty sure, and now there's nothing particularly special about Ahadi's family over other prides. I'm still keeping the whole thing of "royals are descended from the Great Spirit", but I'm trying to implement it in a different way. If you spot any inconsistant or old information, don't worry, I'm working my way around to update it.
